The purpose of 62MM is to create an environment of unity within the skate community. This includes but is not limited to: Promoting the interest of roller skating amongst members of 62MM and others. Providing an opportunity for members of 62MM to meet and participate in activities with other skate clubs. Providing a fun and pleasant atmosphere for all skaters. Promoting the sport of roller skating in the DC, MD, and VA area.
The vision of 62MM is to see the roller skating community become organized in helping one another achieve the common goal of unity and friendliness by bridging the gap between roller skaters of all ages, roller skate clubs, and the individual roller skater. We will be a positive influence to our fellow skaters by giving support when needed, being respectful, friendly and kind.
